With a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for the game, Natan has consistently demonstrated his dedication to nurturing young baseball talent. Having successfully led the youth Israel baseball team on multiple occasions, his coaching prowess is undeniable. We are thrilled to have Aviad Schechter on board as a coach, bringing his unique perspective and firsthand expertise to our team. Having honed his skills within the esteemed Raanana baseball program since his early years, Aviad's journey from player to champion is truly inspiring. His instrumental role in leading his team to consecutive victories in the Juniors championship during 2022 and 2023 reflects his exceptional leadership abilities and unparalleled dedication. Moreover, Aviad's presence as a current player on the Israel national team adds an extra layer of insight to his coaching approach. Introducing Tomer Erel to our coaching team opens an exciting new chapter for Raanana baseball. Having thrived within the prestigious Tel Aviv baseball program during his formative years. His extensive experience as a catcher for Israel's travel team throughout his youth speaks volumes about his prowess on the field and his deep understanding of the game's intricacies. We eagerly anticipate the unique insights and skills he will bring to our players as we embark on a journey of growth and development together. Tomer Erel's dedication to both the sport and our community cements his role as a vital mentor and leader within our baseball family.

Hailing from a rich background of playing baseball in Israel, Nadav's journey from a young enthusiast to a rising star is nothing short of inspiring. His remarkable feats as a leading hitter and his versatility as a shortstop and pitcher on the international stage represent the pinnacle of dedication and skill. As a coach, Nadav's firsthand experience in high-stakes tournaments around the world will undoubtedly offer our players a unique perspective on excelling both at the plate and in the field. We are honored to continue our legacy of excellence with the guidance of Ruby Schechter, a cornerstone of Raanana baseball for years. Ruby's steadfast commitment to the growth and development of our players has been nothing short of exceptional. His tenure as the Juniors coach stands as a testament to his coaching acumen, leading the team to back-to-back first-place victories over the last two seasons. As we look ahead, we're excited to announce that Ruby, alongside his son Aviad, will be taking the reins to coach the cadets. Their combined expertise and dedication will not only instill the finer points of baseball but also emphasize the values of sportsmanship and character. Ruby Schechter's contributions have left an indelible mark on our community, and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact he and Aviad will make in shaping not only skilled athletes but also outstanding individuals both on and off the field.

We are delighted to have Daniel Cohen and his family as an integral part of our Raanana Baseball program. Their arrival last year has truly brought a wave of positivity and enthusiasm that's infectious throughout our entire organization. From day one, the Cohen family's presence has been a ray of sunshine, consistently putting smiles on the faces of everyone involved and igniting a heightened excitement for Raanana baseball. With his son Caleb actively participating on the field, and his wife and two daughters cheering on the sidelines, their family spirit embodies the true essence of community and support. The Cohen's enthusiasm for the game is so infectious that even their four-legged companion seems to join in the cheering from time to time. It's this kind of shared passion and camaraderie that makes our baseball family stronger, and we are grateful to have the Cohen family as an essential part of our Raanana baseball community.

Grew up playing baseball in Los Angeles, before moving to Israel at age 11. Played 8 years in Raanana baseball, and in 6 tournaments with the national team, as a pitcher and infielder. 

Spent years as head coach of the Raanana Juniors, making four championships and winning three of them (2019, 2022, 2023). Previously was head coach of the Lev HaSharon Juniors for one year. 

Took over as head of the U18 national program in 2022, coached the U19 national team to a first place finish at the 2023 Palomino European Championship in Germany, which earned them a spot at the Palomino World Series in Texas. 
Also coached the U17 national team to a gold medal in the JCC Maccabi Games in Israel.

Our organization is proud to have a highly valued coach. Growing up playing baseball in America, he has instilled a love for the game in his two sons, who are currently playing in the Raanana baseball organization. Over the past seven years, he has dedicated himself to coaching at various levels within the Raanana baseball community, guiding and mentoring young athletes, including his own children. His passion, dedication, and extensive experience make him an indispensable part of our team, continually fostering growth and excellence in our players.
